What would you do if you were in my shoes?

I consider myself a tidy and neat person. I don't know if it's good or bad, because most of the time it helps me a lot, but right now it's acting conversely. Let me start with my room: The books are usually tidy in the bookcase, my shoes are always clean, my clothes are ironed in advance when I want to go somewhere and each hung on a separate hanger, I always use my own bathroom, my own shampoo, and my own everything. I'm rather fussy about my personal belongings. But now that we're moving places, we've put all our things in boxes; therefore, I don't know where exactly my things are. We've piled the boxes in a temporary apartment until we find a suitable permanent one and that's why for every single thing I need to go quite a long way from my Grandmother's house--which we're presently staying at--to pick that thing up. I feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere; I mean I had so many plans for the summer, but I can't rest assured until I have my belongings tidied in a safe place so that they can't be harmed.
This election is becoming a hassle too. If it wasn't for the unstable situation, we wouldn't have to move twice.

  1. Firstly, it's your own shoes, so you won't allow me to use them.just kidding.
Secondly,I have the same problem but I don't look for them anymore because I have done much before and it was useless.

  2. Thanks for sympathizing... :) Maybe this is my lesson to learn: not to be this fussy.

  3. It seems that this (s)election has done sth with every Iranian’s life. It has injured my feelings and your life’s stability. It is easy to say that please calm down and don’t worry because everything is ok and in the near future you will have your things tidy and well-ordered again, but I am not so sure that it is a good idea or not. Order and tidiness is good but don’t you think that you are exceeding bounds? How much should a person or place be tidy? I think you know that having obsession about any thing is considered as an illness, I am not blaming you for that but if you are always thinking about it you should consider thinking about it. Hope to everything become in order soon.

  6. Sorry for not introducing myself. In fact I don't remember if I had commented on your blog before or not because many of your classmates are my friends and I do comment on their blog regularly.
I think I should mention that I was studying English literature there and I graduated last term. Anyway, I consider your blog a public one but if you want it to be private please let me know and I won't comment anymore. Sorry for disturbing you. Have a nice time.
